2) Reporting Alleged Infringement (DMCA Notice)

If you believe material on SmartMoneySave infringes your copyright, send a written notice containing the items below to our Designated Agent. We will respond as required by applicable law (e.g., the U.S. Digital Millennium Copyright Act, 17 U.S.C. §512).

Designated Agent (for copyright notices):
Email: contact@smartmoneysave.com
Subject line: DMCA Notice – SmartMoneySave

Your notice must include:

  1. Your full name, mailing address, telephone number, and email.
  2. Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed (or a representative list).
  3. Identification of the material that is claimed to be infringing and its location on our site (URL).
  4. A statement that you have a good-faith belief the disputed use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
  5. A statement that the information in the notice is accurate, and under penalty of perjury, that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on the owner’s behalf.
  6. Your physical or electronic signature (typing your full name qualifies).

Important: Submitting a false or bad-faith notice may expose you to liability under 17 U.S.C. §512(f) or similar laws.

3) Counter-Notification (If Your Content Was Removed)

If we removed or disabled access to your content in response to a DMCA notice and you believe it was a mistake or misidentification, you may send a counter-notification.

Send to: contact@smartmoneysave.com
Subject line: DMCA Counter-Notice – SmartMoneySave

Your counter-notice must include:

  1. Your full name, mailing address, telephone number, and email.
  2. Identification of the material removed or to which access was disabled, and the location where it appeared (URL) before removal.
  3. A statement, under penalty of perjury, that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification.
  4. A statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the Federal District Court for your address (or, if outside the U.S., to a proper court for any district in which SmartMoneySave may be found) and that you will accept service of process from the person who provided the original DMCA notice.
  5. Your physical or electronic signature (typing your full name qualifies).

Upon receiving a valid counter-notice, we may restore the material within 10–14 business days unless the original complainant notifies us that they have filed a court action seeking to restrain you from engaging in the allegedly infringing activity.

4) Repeat-Infringer Policy

In appropriate circumstances and at our discretion, we terminate or restrict accounts and/or commenting privileges of users who are determined to be repeat infringers. We also reserve the right to remove content at any time for any reason, including alleged infringement, without prior notice.

5) User-Generated Content & Your Responsibility

If you submit comments, files, or other materials to the site, you are responsible for ensuring you have the necessary rights. Do not upload content you do not own or do not have permission to use. By submitting content, you warrant that it does not infringe third-party rights and you grant us a license consistent with our Terms of Use to host and display it.

6) Trademarks & Other Rights

Logos, trade dress, and trademarks displayed on the site are the property of SmartMoneySave or third parties. Nothing in this policy grants any license to use such marks without prior written permission. For trademark concerns or non-copyright complaints, email contact@smartmoneysave.com with details.

7) International Considerations

We operate from Türkiye. Our procedures align with the DMCA safe-harbor framework and similar international standards. If your claim arises outside the U.S., please include the relevant jurisdiction and legal basis in your notice; we will address it under applicable law.

We may update this Copyright Policy from time to time. Changes take effect when posted with the new “Last updated” date.
